You can check in from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For later check-in, please contact the reception desk. Check-out is available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A lazy check-out can be booked for an additional fee.
We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, and Maestro. You can pay online using your preferred payment method. Payments by debit card are also accepted at the reception desk. We do not accept cash payments. Best Available Rate: The full reservation amount must be paid at the time of booking. Flexible Rate: 50% of the total reservation amount must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be charged during the (online) check-in process.
Best Available Rate: In the event of cancellation up to one week before arrival, the guest will be charged the cost of the first night if the reservation is cancelled after booking. The Velvet Lodge B.V. will refund the difference between this amount and the deposit paid. No refund will be issued for later cancellations.
Flexible Rate: Guests may cancel free of charge up to 1 day before arrival. In this case, The Velvet Lodge B.V. will refund the deposit. For cancellations made within 1 day before arrival, the guest will be charged the lower amount of either the first night’s stay or the deposit paid.
Modifications: Guests may modify their reservation once, at least 3 days before arrival. No cancellation fee will be charged provided that the modified reservation is at least of the same value as the original booking, under the same booking conditions, and for at least the same room type.
No-show: The Velvet Lodge B.V. reserves the right to consider the reservation cancelled if the guest has not checked in by 6:00 PM on the first reserved day, unless the guest has informed the property in advance of a later arrival time. In this case, the full reservation amount will be charged.
Guests are required to comply with the house rules and code of conduct applicable at The Velvet Lodge and to follow any reasonable instructions given by staff members. These rules are based on common courtesy: please be considerate of others and avoid causing any disturbance. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building, and pets are not allowed. If a guest causes damage to the property of The Velvet Lodge B.V. or to the belongings of other guests, the costs will be charged to the guest.
The Velvet Lodge B.V. is not liable for the loss or theft of guests’ belongings. Valuable items may be handed in at the reception desk for safekeeping in the hotel safe.
